MoCap Lab
Bring your characters to life! Seven students from the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg made the new motion capture laboratory accessible to other students. The result is a documentation in website format including an animation database, with the help of which interested students can learn how to use the Optitrack system for their own projects. The background of the project is the further development of research and teaching in the field of three-dimensional computer graphics and the strengthening of Bavaria as a digital location. The focus especially lies on real time capturing, gesture control and facial tracking.
